Hood River County has lifted the burn ban for 2023.
Effective October 10, 2023, Burn ban has been lifted for Hood River County.
Burning will be allowed from daylight till dark with a valid permit. This includes small debris piles, barrels, and agricultural fireblyte. Cooking, spiritual, and warming fires are allowed. Commercial/Industrial burns still have to follow ODF restrictions. Prohibited Burning materials; including but not limited to, garbage, paper, plastic, and treated lumber.
